Converting Ideals Into Action

The Ohio State Bar Foundation’s first three-year Strategic Grant Award wrapped up in 2021. Through this new strategic grant initiative, OSBF sought to improve the civics knowledge of adults in Ohio, enhance their participation in and knowledge of government, enable their access to justice, and improve their perceptions of the judicial system. The Strategic Grant Award covered 3 years of support for Issue Media Group’s Civic Education for Adults project, a multifaceted communications strategy aimed at improving the civics knowledge of adults.

The series includes feature stories published in Soapbox Cincinnati, Fresh Water Cleveland, and The Hub Springfield with corresponding surveys and live and virtual events.
