Michelle T. Sundgaard honored for community service by Ohio State Bar Foundation

Columbus, OH (Mar. 15, 2018) – On Wednesday, March 6, the Ohio State Bar Foundation (OSBF) awarded its District 2 Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 & Under to Michelle T. Sundgaard.
For almost three years, Sundgaard has been practicing in Dayton at Pickrel, Schaeffer & Ebeling where she has primarily focused on civil litigation. As she continues her career, Sundgaard will soon be practicing in Cincinnati with Ulmer & Berne LLP in their Product Liability Group.
Sundgaard sits on four working boards, including the Dayton Children’s Hospital’s Women’s Board, the Disability Foundation, the Dayton History Bell Board, and the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Association Board. She also volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers Project by taking pro bono cases, volunteers for Wills for Heroes and Wills for Vets, and has coached the USDL Mock Trial Team and the University of Dayton’s undergraduate Mock Trial Team.

About the Award: The Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under is presented to attorneys, 40 years of age or younger, who contribute substantial time, talent, and effort serving their community. The service must be outside the recipients’ practice of law and given without compensation. The recipients represent the ideals of the legal profession and, by example, are a credit to the profession. Award nominations for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 will be accepted through June 1, 2019.
