Lee Heckman honored for community service by Ohio State Bar Foundation

COLUMBUS, OH (APRIL 8, 2020) – The Ohio State Bar Foundation (OSBF) has awarded Lee Heckman with its District 9 Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under.
Heckman is a Partner at Reese Pyle Meyer PLL in Newark. At the firm his areas of practice include estate planning, probate, real estate, business law, and tax-exempt organizations. He is a member of the Licking County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
“We are pleased to honor Mr. Heckman with our Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and under,” said OSBF Executive Director Lori Keating. “He has proven to be a tremendous asset to his community in giving his legal time and talent to those who live there.”
Heckman serves on the board of the Canal Market District and Enterprise Hub and the Granville Education Foundation. He has been listed as a Rising Star in Ohio Super Lawyers from 2015 to 2020.
OSBF’s District Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under is given to an attorney in each of the Ohio State Bar Association’s 18 districts. Recipients are chosen by OSBF’s Awards Committee based on volunteer service and involvement with the community.
