OSBF's COVID-19 Response

As the Ohio State Bar Foundation Board of Trustees and staff navigates the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to inform you about the steps we are taking to protect the health and safety of our staff, our Fellows, our grantees, our supporters, and our community.

While life looks a little different than it did, know that the OSBF is focusing on its mission and won’t stop working to improve the justice system and the public understanding of the rule of law.

The OSBF office continues to operate business as usual – we are all just doing it from home. The staff has seamlessly transitioned from in-person to online video meetings and will continue their commitment to the OSBF’s important work. We will work remotely until further notice. All meetings will be held virtually or by phone, including the Board of Trustees’ April meeting and all committee meetings.

Our Fellows are the backbone of our organization, and the OSBF is here for all of them throughout this ever-evolving pandemic. Now’s the time to connect with other Fellows in your area. Create a support system. We’re happy to help in any way that we can.

Also, we anticipate that our grantees will have legal needs and questions. Please let us know if you are willing to assist, if and when these needs arise in the coming weeks.

We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to a strong future ahead.

We know you are busy understanding and discovering new ways to best serve your communities, especially those impacted by this crisis, while also adjusting organizational operations to keep processes running smoothly. At this time, our grant programs are continuing as normal. Please reach out to us if you have immediate concerns or questions about your active grant, pending application, or reporting requirement. We appreciate the continued responsive and diligent work you do for communities throughout Ohio.

Thank you for supporting our mission, we are grateful. And we are here for you. We will continue granting money to organizations and projects bettering the legal system and appreciate your dedication.

We will continue to provide additional updates in the coming days and weeks via email, our website, and our social media channels.

Be well.

In fellowship and gratitude,
